Kevin Labs VolMix Privacy Policy
This policy describes information handling in the macOS edition of VolMix, provided by Ksic Studio.
Data handled by the app
VolMix does not send your app audio, application list, preferences, or usage activity to the developer. It does not require a VolMix account and contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK.
- Audio: To apply per-app volume or mute, VolMix uses Apple's CoreAudio Process Tap APIs to process application audio temporarily in memory on your Mac. It does not save audio recordings, upload audio, or share audio with the developer or third parties. VolMix does not capture screen images or microphone input.
- Application and device information: VolMix reads running audio processes, app names and identifiers, and audio output device information to display and control the mixer. This information is used locally.
- Preferences: Per-app volume and mute choices, language, and other preferences are saved locally on your Mac. VolMix does not sync these settings to a developer server. Your own device backup or migration settings may include locally stored preferences.
Permission and control
macOS may request system-audio recording/capture permission when you use per-app controls. The exact permission name varies with macOS. This access is used only to adjust application audio. You can revoke it in System Settings > Privacy & Security; per-app control will then be unavailable. Quitting VolMix stops its audio processing. Local preferences remain available for the next launch; contact support if you need help removing them.
Purchases and Apple services
VolMix is purchased once from the Mac App Store. There is no subscription or in-app purchase required to use its features. Apple processes downloads, purchases, and Apple Account information under Apple's own privacy policy. VolMix does not receive your payment card details. Operating-system diagnostics or reports you choose to share with Apple are governed by your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
Support and website
If you choose to email support, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond to your request and retain it only as needed for support and applicable obligations. You may request deletion by emailing support, subject to any required retention. Please do not send audio recordings or screenshots containing personal information unless needed for your request and you choose to share them.
Opening the support or privacy links launches your browser. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub processes ordinary website request information under its privacy statement. These pages have no advertising or analytics scripts. They store only your website language preference in your browser. You can remove that preference by clearing this site's browser data. This website preference is separate from the app's language setting.

We update this policy when relevant features or data practices change. For support, privacy questions, or deletion requests about information you sent to support, contact [email protected].

购买与 Apple 服务
VolMix 在 Mac App Store 一次购买，无需订阅或应用内购买即可使用功能。Apple 按其自身隐私政策处理下载、购买和 Apple 账户信息。VolMix 不会接收你的支付卡信息。你选择向 Apple 分享的操作系统诊断或报告受 Apple 设置及政策管理。
支持与网站
如果你主动通过邮件联系支持，我们会接收你的邮箱地址及邮件中包含的信息，用于回应请求，并仅在提供支持和履行适用义务所需期间保留。你可通过支持邮箱申请删除，但依法需要保留的信息除外。除非问题处理需要且你愿意提供，请勿发送含个人信息的音频录制或截图。
打开支持或隐私链接会启动浏览器。网站托管在 GitHub Pages；GitHub 按其隐私声明处理常规网站请求信息。页面不使用广告或分析脚本，只在浏览器中保存网站语言偏好。清除此站点的浏览器数据可移除该偏好。网站语言设置与应用语言设置相互独立。
